Our Story

In 1996 we were married in a majestic redwood grove near our home in beautiful Northern California. We were lucky to find in each other our soul mates at a young age. Over the years, we have developed more love than two people alone can share.

For so long, we have dreamed of sharing our love with children, but were unable to have our own. Our journey to parenthood has brought us closer in ways we never before imagined. We are excited to welcome a precious child, and you, into our lives with open hearts. 

We love to play, cook, and travel together. We enjoy hiking, biking and camping in the woods and mountains, picnics on the beach, and tending to our garden. We adore animals, and we share a passion for art, movies, basketball, and music of all kinds. We treasure books and already have a growing collection for our children!

We are guided by a strong set of values that bring respect, honesty and equality to our family and work.  We value opportunities for growth and enrichment through compassion, education and life experience, and the same principles will guide our parenting.

To us, parenting means unconditional love and care. The goal of any parent is to guide the child to become a confident, secure, loving and adventurous person in their own right.  As parents, we will lead by example, having faith in and supporting our child to pursue his or her dreams.  We know that becoming parents is the most important and rewarding thing we will ever do, and we eagerly embrace this opportunity, with all of the joys and challenges it offers.
